Research Interests:

Different genetic variations are showing a higher susceptibility to certain rheumatologic disorders. Our research program is investigating the impact of genetic variants on apoptotic potential in synoviocytes cultures (fibroblast like synoviocytes, FLS) derived from joints after surgery in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
